Trenching & Excavation Competent Person Training

The Trenching & Excavation Competent Person Training course is designed for supervisors and competent individuals responsible for training and ensuring workers are protected from cave-ins, hazardous atmospheres, falling objects, and other risks associated with trenching and excavation operations. Participants will learn about the roles and responsibilities of a Competent Person, including OSHA regulations, soil classification, trenching hazard identification, protective systems, and conducting daily trench inspections. This training meets the requirements outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1926.650, 651, and 652, equipping attendees with the knowledge needed to maintain safe excavation practices on the job site.
