This course enhances participants’ understanding of the hazards associated with permit-required confined space entry and the necessary safety procedures to mitigate risks. Key topics include confined space definitions, entry procedures, essential program and permit system requirements, hazard identification, ventilation, lockout/tagout protocols, equipment use, and the roles and responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and supervisors. Additionally, students will learn about evacuation and rescue procedures and proper steps for closing an entry operation. This training meets the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 & 1910.147, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
