The AHERA Asbestos Management Planner Initial Course builds on asbestos inspection knowledge, training participants to develop comprehensive asbestos management plans while ensuring regulatory compliance. The course covers Operations and Maintenance (O&M) procedures, building survey interpretation, abatement response planning, legal considerations, record-keeping, and plan submission. Students will review and apply response strategies using an AHERA-compliant Asbestos Management Plan. Certification is awarded upon passing a 50-question exam. Current AHERA Building Inspector certification is required for enrollment.
